My Week in Lagos: Social Media Week

So I was in Lagos last week basically for Social Media week and some work related stuffs sha
On Monday,  I was at Idea hub which is situated on Herbert Macaulay way, Yaba. I needed to interview an applicant for an opening  in the company and since I was in Lagos, I decided to save the guy the stress of having to travel all the way to Ilorin. A friend hooked me up and I found myself a venue to not only interview the candidate but also get some work done.

I ended the day at the cinema with my friend, Sandra  (who wrote the last post) and Chinedu Ahuchaogu....sadly we did not get to take pictures together...I have not been to the cinema since like forever, Sandra has always been my cinema buddy but since her accident, we have not even bothered to go that route...so I was so happy to steal that moment with her.

On Thursday, I attended another Social Media Week event which took place at Nike Arts gallery. This was my first time at the gallery and this was my first time of seeing so many art piece in one place. I hear it is the largest in West Africa.

Our host, an artist who was taking us through the various art pieces in the gallery.

Lagos never seizes to amaze me and every time I step into that city I discover a new part of it.
I miss the city but not sure I can survive the gra-gra and humidity of the town again.
